Abstract:

This Handbook establishes practical solutins to enhance active involvement of all interested parties in the Water Framework Directive (WFD) implementation. On one hand it explains why it makes sense to be more ambitious with participatory process than just informing or consulting stakeholders and the public. On the other, it provides the know-how to create the right framework for a successful process.
