This year, Ohrid, the town by the beautiful Ohrid Lake in North Macedonia, with 365 churches, picturesque houses and monuments, will be hosting the 2nd Balkan Rural Parliament, on June 15th and 16th. BRDN is organizing this event with financial support of SWG – Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group in South Eastern Europe.
We are pleased to invite you to take part at the 2nd Balkan Rural Parliament and join the group of various rural stakeholders from the Western Balkans and important actors in the agricultural and rural development, to discuss the challenges and actions which can be taken for improvement of the well-being of the rural people.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the precaution measures, the 2nd Balkan Rural Parliament envisions limited physical presence for representatives of the seven Western Balkan Countries (Albania, North Macedonia, Croatia, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro) delegated by the rural development networks, members of BRDN.
An opportunity for virtual presence will be provided for everyone interested to participate.
